What is it Gastric BOTOX ?
Stomach botox is the process of injecting botulinum toxin into certain parts of the stomach with the endoscopic method. Since it is not a surgical method, no incision is made, and 15-20% weight loss is targeted in stomach botox treatment. With the stomach botox process, there is a decrease in the level of the hunger hormone called ghrelin. However, gastric acid secretion is reduced and gastric emptying is slowed. This situation is reflected in the patient as a decrease in appetite and late hunger.
